Hey there, I'm Kerleisha.

I'm a graphic designer who loves type, post-its, and making lists. Intrigued? Here's 5 things you should know about me.

1. I'm a Self-Taught Designer.

I'm an Emory University graduate with a Bachelor's in Economics. I discovered graphic design through a personal summer project and went back to campus excited to sharpen my skills through my extracurriculars. I joined a student magazine to start learning layout, worked on the marketing team for our Center for Women's production of the Vagina Monologues, and went on to work on the Center for Women's day to day marketing efforts.

2. I'm an Eternal Learner.

One of the perks of being self-taught? I'm always wanting to learn more. You'll never find me without a project.

3. I'm a (Creative) Hoarder.

Type? Email Design? Patterns? Vintage cookbooks? There's a Pinterest board for that. I love scouring and collecting good design and practices. I may not know for what exactly I'll use the pinned photo taken a few Saturdays ago of the lettered chalkboard sign , but it's so exciting to see that inspiration come to the forefront of my mind in the middle of a project.

4.I'm Kind of a Geek.

No real explanation needed for this one. Want to geek out over Marvel movies and NPR podcasts? I'm your girl.

5.I'm an Ideas Girl.

I love a challenge and good brainstorming session. I'm quick to listen and slow to speak, but when an idea pops into my head, steps one, two and three are quick to follow.
